Dear Kevin,
I'd just like to take this time to thank you for making the trip to the University of Missouri to overwhelm us with your hypnotic abilities. I will admit that before this event I was very cynical about the legitimacy of hypnotists.
After meeting you before the event, and watching the show, I have no doubt in my mind that you are the real deal, and exceptional at what you do. Plus it helped that one of my good friends was hypnotized and said that he remembers absolutely nothing.
Perhaps the best part about your act was your promise. You promised people that you would do absolutely nothing to embarrass the volunteers you hypnotized. I found it very relieving that for once a comic did not rely on vulgarity and tasteless humor to make the crowd laugh.
I applaud your enthusiasm, and more importantly I applaud the fact that you kept your promise and did nothing to take advantage of the people that you hypnotized.
For days after the event, people who saw the show kept telling all of their friends about how funny it was and telling them some of the skits that you performed. From the drill sergeant to the movie manager to the dating game to the dance contest, there was never a dull moment.
As one of the people who planned RHA week, I think it safe to say that having you there was the highlight of our week and the one that people will remember the most.
Again, thank you very much for gracing us with your presence and allowing us to laugh so hard that people were hunched over with a loss of breath!
